wow, I didn't even notice that on my phone when I looked earlier (too small). Now that I'm on my PC, I see that now.
If that's the case, then yes, it won't come close
No rain driving for me! Only precipitation is from my garden hose during a wash
I actually made a promise to myself this year, that no more driving Marilyn to work. All she does is sit and get dust collected on her. No clue where the dang dust comes from in our parking lots. But it's not worth it. I washed and detailed her on Sunday once, then drove to work on Monday, then by the time I drove her home, she was literally filthy. And it was a sunny day too. Sucked. Had to wash her AGAIN.

Egads!! you use ordinary garden hose water??? :O
Mine gets filtered spring water from an underground well. No chlorines or other pollutants!
However, I do have a special filtration system connected to my outside faucets, so I can get softened water out there
I can flip valve to allow for either so wife can water her plants/garden with hard water, then I wash cars with soft. Makes BIG diff.

I've had friends go and say it was awesome. That's actually in Herrman, MO home of many wineries and B&B's so, Burton, that'd be a great weekend getaway for you to take your wife to while still doing a car thing too! It's about an hour outside of St. Louis so would be a few hundred miles round trip for Marilyn, so not sure you could handle that mileage + dirtying of her exterior

But nah, I can handle the dirt. I usually bring my detailing supplies, then I stop occasionally at a gas station/rest stop and literally detail her before driving some more

Might have to plan a trip to MO. Tbh though, we went to St. Louis once, and I kid you not, we got so freaked out
we stayed downtown. Literally downtown. LOL. We were young and stupid. Mine has seen rain a few times...maybe 5 in the two years I've had it. I also don't drive mine to work anymore...but that's mostly because it is an 8 minute drive on 30mph roads and the parking lot is a freaking gravel/pebble/pothole-filled nightmare! There's just no point.
That's why I'm never going to drive her to work anymore. 10 minute drive to work. Useless. No enjoyment, instead frustration, esp from a detailing standpoint. I'd rather get home, THEN drive her to do errands, etc...and enjoy the pi$$ out of her, plus no worries of "parking dust" (dust that accumulates after parking for work for 9 hours).
Got a chance to finally upload some pics I took last weekend.
I just found a couple of locations by a store, and one by a park.
Marilyn was detailed and washed with Chemical Guys products, then lavished with Pinnacle Souveran this time.
Sorry but I don't have any stunning backdrops like oceans, cliffs, or graffiti
I have nothing but plains and flat areas here in the midwest.
Enjoy.

Great pictures Tom! The black '15 Roush and the white/blue GT500 made me drool.
Here's us friends lining our cars up by starbucks tonight. We had a few passersby comment and take some pictures. It was a perfect night for crusing.

The Roush was a nearby Ford/Roush dealer demo. The owner of the dealer is trying to get into Ford Performance on a bigger level. One of the service advisers brought it for a little bit of advertising. He explained that it's a Stage 2 because superchargers aren't certified yet in NJ on the 2015's. But the dealer installed one anyway. He claimed that it's got 670hp which puts it in Hellcat territory. But it's lighter and will no doubt out-handle the Dodge, so they're probably on equal footing.
Lately I've been becoming more enamoured with the SN95. The other night I fell in lust with an '04 Mach 1, and last night there were two 40th Anniversary models....the orange convertible and the red coupe. Both of those were amazingly clean, as was the Mach 1.
