Nice looking car! But mustang, it is not. Just my 2 cents.

Is it just me or do S550s sit higher in the front than they do the rear?

You know, I just test drove one tonight, and I think you might be right. Driving it was awkward to me. It had a very high cowl.

To me it looks like they removed the rake that gave the Mustang it's characteristic stance. I always like setups that retain a little bit of rake, even when lowered.

I like the matte/satin black appearance, but it seems such a shame to do that to a brand new car.

But it is a head turner, especially with the black wheels...those look great with the contrasting silver rivets/lugs/caps, and the red calipers are just enough color.

I wonder how that would sell if Ford offered a paint with that patina. It'd be a helluva lot easier to maintain I would think.

I think it might be smart. It has the added benefit of protecting the paint. In 3-4 years when it's getting a bit ratty, peel it off and there's brand new paint underneath.

lol hahahaha no, not to me.
I do think it's purty an all, but to me it still doesn't call out "buy me, buy me". Sitting beside my current ride, i'd pick mine every time. I do truly admire it's singular beauty and uniqueness tho.

New battery installed, took it out of the garage for a few minutes.
Installed the GF's stock front wheels/tires on the front, moved the 285's to the rear (taking off the drag radials), and took it for a brief drive up the street

I'd take your car over that '15 any day!! I'm with you. I like the 2015....but I don't love it. I just doesn't resonate with me like the did when it came out S197.

Ask a Harley owner who thought the Denim paint would be awsome how great it is.

Spot on. Satin/matte requires real skill to keep it looking correct. Ask BMW owners who order the "frozen" option. I have heard similar stories.

Looks great when it is new though.
