I don't know the figures but fuel is one of the first places governments jack taxes when they start rummaging around in our pockets. Doesn't stop me from driving, doesn't stop me from paying it when the tank is getting low...and it didn't stop me from saying "I'll take the V8 please." But it does **** me off pretty good.

Thanks Burton. Trying to take advantage of this awesome weather.
Your car is going to beastly after those upgrades indeed.

Good choice in sterling gray. I call it "Panty Dropper Gray". Every woman who sees SGM on my car is instantly in love with it. And that's a fact.

Thanks for the positive comments everyone. Whether we have a new one or a classic 64 1/2 we are all batting for the same team.

X2.

I'm sure the "view" was great, as evidenced by your inability to focus on remembering to move your finger.....

But correct, never worth the chance that your paint will be ruined. But if you don't care about swirls, scratches, and marring...then it's not a bad idea.

I was roughly 55-70 Euro per half tank. Sometimes more sometimes less. I think I paid 1.89/liter once just outside Rome. I usually pay around $4.25 per gallon for 93 inside Germany. Any other country I'm paying local prices.

Yup. The $2.50 "stubby mod"

Cut the antenna short and put a black rubber cap on it. Bought a small package of caps at the local Advance Auto for $2.50. Have a few spares in case this one dries up and cracks.

Radio reception's still good.

The benefit was for a four year old that was killed by a drunk driver and his mom that is in the hospital. No scratches I was the first one through the line and I dried it myself. :-)
