2010-2014 Ford Mustang S-197 Gen II Lets see your latest Pics PHOTO GALLERY
255/35 up front and 295/30 out back. it's not the sidewall stretching that is from the sidwall contacting the inside of the wheel lip since apparently American Racing deems that a 34mm offset is adequate for a 20x10. any wider of a tire and there would have been significant issues.
The bending is pothole issues. the paint missing from the wheel well lip is from poor offset.

Everyone recommends and sells with their packages a 275 in the back, and I went with a 295. I really don't see or understand why you're adamant that I was somehow negligent here in choosing a tire size that was even wider than recommendations.
I didn't "get the wrong offset" this is what they are selling for a 05-14 Mustang in a staggered fitment.
Toyo also recommends a 10-11" rear wheel for those tires.
well i went wider than retailers recommendations are, so i can't see how that would happen. Everyone recommends and sells with their packages a 275 in the back, and I went with a 295. Tires have become more like jeans over the years . . . the same size from different manufacturers don't "fit" the same. I run a 285 on my 18x10 rims and they fit perfectly flush with the rim. Though I could easily go up in size. I've run 295 in the past.

I didn't say you were negligent. Just uninformed and sold wheels and tires that don't fit your vehicle correctly. Your car is lowered and if you don't have an adjustable panhard bar to center your axle, maybe that is why they contact your fender. If your axle is centered, then your offset is wrong by at least 1/2". I've dealt with tires for so many years that it just bothers me to see tires that fit the way yours do on your rims. Don't mean to upset you if I have, it's just a bad set up AM sold you and I hate to see that type of thing.
A 10” wheel with a 34mm offset should have worked with very minimal clearance on the outer fender flare. If the tire rub is happening on both left and right side fender flares, the offset is incorrect regardless of what the wheel manufacturer told you. If they call that right they should be building wheels for baby buggies not baby blue buggies~ If the rub is only happening on one side, center the rear axle with the lateral locating link.

Went to get my annual physical today. Parked my car at the very end of the parking lot, no other car within 10 spaces. I come back out and find this.... (Sorry for the poor quality cell phone pic)
Ouch! Bummer!!! 295/30 should fit OK on a 10” wide wheel. The bent wheel is totally symptomatic of low aspect ratio tires and potholes…not a matter of “if” but “when” you will bend a rim and shred a tire with a 25 or 30 aspect ratio tire on our wonderful roads these days. My personal belief is a 35 aspect ratio tire is about as realistically low as a daily driver should get and even that can be pushing it on some roads.

Agree 100%. It rubs on both sides, just a slight tad more on the right, which means i was like off 2mm from dead center.
My new tires will be 275/35's and 295/35's when i buy them, and after a year w/ the American Racing Torq Thrusts on it, I think I have it out of my system and won't do that style again.
