That's actually the A/C condenser in front of the radiator. A cheap and easy solution that also protects it from bugs, rocks, and other road debris would be this;

Spray paint that sucker flat black and it will look great. If I had a new GT500 this would be my first mod.

 

That might look cool, but I think you should spray the whole thing black first, then maybe do a stencil spray over that in another color. I think with the color scheme of your car it just looks "off" with that bright aluminum finish through the grille.

 

Ahh, my mistake. But yea I think spraying the a/c condenser is a necessity, especially when you have a dark color theme.
