It's a pretty beast of a install by yourself without a lift. Have fun! Can't wait to see pics after the install

Yeehaw! Can you share with me where you got em? Are those the GT500 pipes and valance kit? I'm on the cusp of ordering those for mine but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Good luck with the install.

Cheers!

Not to be one "Those guys", but the stripes you're referring to which were applied to WWII aircraft were not "Victory" stripes. Indeed, they were invasion identification stripes painted on all allied aircraft participating in "Operation Overlord", better known at "The Normandy invasion which took place on June 6th, 1944. This was the Allie's first major offensive to recapture Europe from Axis power. The intention of the stripes was to allow for ground troops to easily identify "Friendly" aircraft from those they should be shooting at! The attached photo of Happy Jacks Go Buggy shows the 2x3 layout which appeared on the fuselage and wings. If you were a ground troop and shot at an airplane with those bold stripes on it, you definitely needed an eye test!

For what it's worth, I think your artwork gives a reasonable nod to the real thing and I like the look. Calling them "Victory stripes" when applied to your car is not entirely inappropriate...after all, anybody who has one of these cars is a winner!

If any of you Mustang guys/gals are also warbird fans and will be attending Oshkosh, look me up. I'll be down near the warbird pit this year with "My" airplane...The "Red Tail".

About three hours but I had already put a Boss valence on, so the bumper was cut.

I thought it sounded good before with the Dynamax but this incredible. Love It!
