Zto5,

Every time I see your car I want to go wash mine. Great looking finish on that thing. I'm sure you are gonna kill at the show tomorrow. I'm going now to wash mine.

With the new GT500 spoiler installed:
(minus the Gurney flap - still working on making that thing look good)

Had some scratches/scrape marks on it from shipping / banging around in the much larger spoiler box.
I tried detailer spray and microfiber towel like somebody on one of the forums mentioned and they were still there.
Tried some ScratchX2.0 and still nothing.
Then I figured I'd try to paint it. Should've just Plasti-Dipped the thing then, cuz apparently I didn't clean off the ScratchX and/or the detailer spray well enough cuz when I sprayed the adhesion promoter and then the paint on the thing, the spots where I had that stuff on was coming out real shtity, paint not adhering well.
Ended up sanding the carp out of those areas and Plasti-Dipping the thing.
4th coat of dip is drying now.

Sent an e-mail to Levittown Ford to see if there's anything they can do for me ... I'd love a replacement part, which I'd probably dip immediately

I did a search and found the wax/sealer 'Blacklight' I've never used it - can you share your thoughts on the product. I use Meguiar's NXT Generation Tech Wax 2.0 with a Porter Cable DA Polisher. Plus what do you mean by 'Final lsp'?

Oh geez, crappy situation. Yea hopefully they can help you out, that piece of plastic wouldn't hurt them just wondering if they'd have to break up spoiler and a flap just to get you a flap

Yeah it sucks, but it's available separately ... Tousley sells it for about $62-$68 depending on whether the car has the SVT pkg or not, whatever that means.

Dude, aliens are stealing your car.

Zto5, I think I need to buy some new wax and break out the buffer. Unless my wife actually sent my stuff from SC. She's been busy so IDK.

Gabe, looks great with the new wing. Hope you get the flap sorted out.

Not quite Mustang related, but check out these beauties I saw today. Not often you see two F40s in one location.

Thanks so much guys. Car show was awesome! 144 cars. I should've entered my car to win lol. Nah... I was busy relaxing with the wifey. I did see two Shelby's... And a boss. ALL 143 OF THEM HAD SWIRLS THOUGH....

#144 (mine) did not

Steve thanks for kind words. It is definitely buffer time. I will have to wash Marilyn again tomorrow from drive back.

Gabe, get that flap on! Your car looks killer.
