Fun - where in PA are you? I built a FFR roadster years ago with a buddy. Fun project! How about some more details on the build?

 

I've thought about doing my own...will wait until I've built my house first. Wife would kill me otherwise.

 

Northeastern, near Stroudsburg. It's been a lot fun so far. The assembly has been a very two steps forward-one step back kind of process, I'm sure you know how it is. The car is just about 100% mechanically finished. We've driven it as a go kart several times and I think we've finally worked out all our kinks (knock on wood). The engine is a Ford 302/350 with a tremec 5 speed. We're planning on painting it BMW Carbon Black Metallic with white dual racing stripes. Single chrome roll bar as well. Interior is standard, except for a carbon fiber dash. There's 3 other Factory Five roadsters out by us, a purple 427 about a mile away from us, a black one that I've seen around a few times, and another red one owned by a family friend. Surprising amount of FFRs for the area.

Not sure if you know but the Leander cars and coffee has gone downhill after John Eagle pulled out and started the Oasis Cars and Coffee. A friend of mine (Leander SWAT) will be directing the cars and will now be letting first come fill up the center parking (Where John Eagles cars use to park). Never really liked how the mustangs always had to park on the back street.

 

I would love to come down and get some pics with y'all but I have to dismantle a bunch of mods off a '13 gt/cs my buddy is trading in. I heard about Leander but a bunch f us wanted to do a little cruise anyway so it was perfect timing. Hope to see you at oasis ill definitely be there
