I know my 2010 did NOT have the lighted vanity mirrors on the GT Premium. The 2012 does as well as having an option for Home/link. In addition the 2012 slides... not alot but it does. I don't recall my 2010 doing that but I may be wrong. it will be missed, it was a fun fact to share with people not familiar with mustangs.

I know. I was also pointing out other differences along with the little hood shape cover. I stated it would be missed as it was a fun fact to share with people who didn't realize it was shaped like the car hood

 

oh'z. I was showing a guy at work and learned the lack of the fun fact today.

 

You're correct the 10/11's don't slide. I kinda wish the 12's didn't slide.

 

yeah somebody noticed that awhile back. The Trunk buttion icon changed too. I like all the little easter eggs in the '11

I'm one of those people who likes to keep all factory stuff even if I mod the car. But if you find some '12 ones and want to sell yours send me a PM I'd probably buy them.

 

The 2011 also has a better TCS button.

 

I just switched out my 2011 visors from my Mustang GT Premium convertible to the 2012 style with the lighted mirrors and garage door opener. Not sure if the coupe and convertible are the same, but if you are interested in buying my 2011 visors, let me know.

I have the the hood shape HID lighted mirror visors on my '11 !!!! Just sayin '

 

don't have either.. are they only on the coupe or on the gt?

 

Mine is hood shaped but they don't light up.
