Are 2010 and 2009 Axle Backs the same?

Any changes on the axle backs from 2005-2010? Or can they all be mounted interchangably?

I'm not 100% sure but I believe the only difference is the length & positioning of the tips. The 2010+ needs longer pipes after the mufflers to get past the rear bumper cover.

That makes sense.

Ninosport & Ford Racing has mufflers listed for the 2010.

What ones are you looking for?

Something under $300. I was hoping for the JBA's. While I know they may fit, I don't want to reccommend she buy them, have them be too short, and create a hassle for a Christmas gift. Everything else seems to be too expen$ive. Time to come up w/ something different.

No they are not the same. 09's are shorter and will melt the rear fascia on a 2010. they must have 2010 assosciated on the order.

Some are interchangeable, some are not. There are no hard set rules as to which will fit the 2010. We've verified the ones on our web store that are listed to fit the 2010. If you have a doubt, best thing to do is to call the manufacturer and find out directly from them if they've verified fitment.

I have the 05-09 FRPP stingers on mine. They originally were a little short until I had the tips cut off and extended. Ran them for 6 months before entending them and no trouble with melting or anything. It only cost $30 to have the tips extended and it looks like they came that way. Haven't priced them lately but if you get a killer deal on 05-09 you might save some money.
