Nope no nav. That's weird though. It's a 2013 premium, 401a. It doesn't affect the track apps, that's on the left of the wheel. It's just for phone and music. Maybe contingent on sync?

Will it actually do anything on my car? I have a 12 GT with Nav.

The button is not on the original wheel.

Wow that's nuts. So you have a 2012 premium with navi and no ok button. He's got a 2013 premium with no ok button....how the heck do I have one, lol.

As far as doing anything, idk. I thought the gt500 wheel just had one wider button for phone and also had no ok button. The picture above I believe he swapped his buttons out. But the stock image when ordering the wheel does not have an "ok".

I don't see this being that much of an upgrade. I position my hands at 9 and 3 so I hate the plastic spokes in that position. The 15 wheel looks like they finally caught on and leather wrapped the hand holds so I will want to look into getting one of those for my 13 GT if it will work.

I had a guy wanting to trade me a Boss 302 suede wheel even for my 13GT smooth leather. Again I didn't see any upgrade in it for me so I said no.

I do kinda agree that it's not that big of a deal. I also hate the plastic at 9 o'clock. It does look super nice and everyone says it feels amazing. But I usually have my left hand between 9 and 10. And I sweat. So the alcantara would get gross quick. And I would still have the plastic.

When the leather starts to peel or the plastic starts to wear, this is a no brainer option. But not until then IMO.

I would LOVE if the 15 wheel is swappable. Can't wait to see.

The Navs don't have a ok button. You need to swap the switch, if you have a Nav. Otherwise the phone buttons won't work.

Doh! That makes sense. Don't need an ok button with a touch screen.

Just the little switch itself? Do I need the existing harness from the original wheel or will the gt500 harness work?

In other words, I'm hoping to just snap the original left hand switch into the new wheel and plug and play. Trying to avoid messing with the harness.

I want this wheel because it looks awesome! That's it and that's all. And I'm doing the GT500 shift and e-brake boots, so it'll match.

The switch will plug into the existing harness. No need to swap, unless you have a 2013+

Since the navs don't have the "ok" button, would the phone icon button still work...just not the ok button if I bolted the gt500 wheel directly on?

Reason I ask is because my right hand buttons are worn. I don't mind the useless little ok
Button as long as everything else works. ( phone icon and so on...$

I was really hoping to get fresh new buttons with gt500 wheel purchase.

Any help is appreciated.

No, the phone buttons won't work. You need the NAV switch. it's only $20 new from Tousley....

I'll check my wheel when I get home - if it's what you need, just pay me shipping for the switched and they're yours

Hey Lexi, maybe you can shed some light on this speaking of buttons. Mine sometimes are wonky. On the right side, I'll push volume up or next track for example and it won't recognize the click. But the left is "worse". When controlling the track apps with the 5 way pad, I'll push left and I've had it go right, lol. Up and it goes left etc. This isn't all the time by any means and if I focus and press firmly it works 99.9% of the time.

Anyway, my buddy with the same set up said his does that sometimes but that mine are worse than his as far as how often is does something other than what's pressed.

Is this normal? The button piece? The harness? What are your thoughts?

Thanks man. I basically need this switch but without the "OK" icon on the button. Similar to what's on the Boss wheel but with sync.

So just the phone button right? For a non-nav Premium/301A car with Tech Package yeah? I'll check when I get home. I have to swap my stock switches on to the GT500 wheel anyways so I'll have no use for the ones on the GT500 wheel now.

No it's for the cars with Nav. It's cool, I think I'm just going to swap the original in. I'll be to busy enjoying the feel to notice the wear! Thanks again
