Easy Chief, let's take a quick second and make some whole sentences.

Are you talking about the Powerdome hood? Or the accessory hood scoop?

. . . I thought incomplete and run-on sentences were allowed in internet-speak . . . as long as you use the dot-dot-dot . . . .

If I do understand the original question -- I don't think the '10 hood scoop will work in the 05-09 hood, because the hood itself is different and the new scoop blends in to the new hood. Personally, I wouldn't want a hood scoop unless it actually did something (meaning let some air in) anyway.

I thought maybe the OP wanted the Shaker for a second. Wasn't sure.

Is it possible to remove the 10-11 hood scoop that is part of the accessory package without leaving scars or holes?

Not to my knowledge. Maybe someone with an accessory package can chime in.

I first thought the hood scoop was 3m taped on. I read somewhere they are also drilled and bolted onto the hood.

NO, NO, NO. I have just installed 2 on customer cars and it has 4 bolts and enough tape to bend or scratch the hood however you try to get it OFF. Forgot, Also has 4 snap clips that you can't get to from underneath.
