Thanks to all for the love!

Anecdote: I drove my GT by my Honda dealer yesterday to show to the sales manager there (the guy who, in December 2006, sold me my Accord V6 that I was going to keep "forvever"). We've been pals ever since (I would always say hey whenever I stop in for parts/fluids, and he marveled at how showroom I kept my AV6). So of course when he saw me yesterday he asked how my Accord was.

So I told him that I'd sold it. He knows me enough to know it would take a tremendous car to let go of my gem-like AV6. So I walked him outside and introduced him to my new 5.0. I must say he was enthralled!! With great awe he checked it out, and after looking under the hood for a good while he accepted my invitation to sit in it and grab hold of the wheel (that's what got me). He said his wife mentioned wanting one, but that he hadn't seen one up close til mine (they don't have any 2011 GT's floating in/out of Honda dealers yet).

So maybe I've won another convert! (?) I told him I've had ZERO Issues in two weeks, and love everything (mostly) about the car. He wanted to take it out for a drive, but we didn't have time. I promised him I'd swing by again in about a month or so. I can't wait til then to turn off ESC and let it rip & watch his reaction...

A wise choice, my man! My first car was a Mustang ('66), and except for a couple of trucks every vehicle I've ever owned was a Mustang. The Saleen is number 23 on the list.

Enjoy the Ride!
