19" Black Bullitt Wheels

Anyone know where I can find a set of 19"x8.5" black Bullitt Wheels with machined lip not sold by American Muscle? I want to add the black Tri-Pony center caps to them later on. These would go on a 2012 GT

I'm new here, so any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Jon.

Wow, that is a tough one. I searched and can find Bullitt wheels in 17, 18, and 20" sizes, but not 19".

I assume one of you already looked at LMR so I won't repeat that effort

Shelby used to make some Bullitt-like wheels that might come in 19", those might be worth a look; also American Racing if you haven't already checked.

I don't know what your issue is with American Muscle, I'm guessing quality . . . but their wheel quality is on par with others in that price range, might be your only choice.

Thanks guys.

Bert I'm just looking other than American Muscle because I want to replace the center cap on the wheels to a black cap with the tri-pony logo on it. The rims that American Muscle offers, the clips on the tri-pony center caps are too short to fit. That's the main reason I'm trying to find them elsewhere. Small detail, but if I can find it that's what I want to go with. Worst case, I try to modify the caps or maybe even glue them on. Who knows.

I wouldn't glue the center caps on as most spin balance machines at tire shops need the open hole.

yeah the American Muscle center caps are kinda fugly, I had some of their 18" deep-dish Bullitt wheels on my car and they looked great from a distance but the center caps were an eye-sore close up. I looked into the center cap thing and found the same size issue; I guess maybe the center cap diameter is protected by Ford patent or something. I did find a guy who was making custom center caps with red pony which seemed like a good solution but I changed wheels before I followed through on that.

Which reminds me, beware: the deep dish bullitt wheels will not clear big brakes (Brembo or similar)

Maybe the simple solution is to spray-paint the AM caps black, so the silver American Muscle logo won't be so visible?
