13.766@101.86 in a 2012 V6
Went to the track the other night and finally got her into the 13's.
13.766 @ 101.86 mph 2.090 60' in the Right Lane.![Big Grin](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
I installed the Steeda Short Shifter and bracket to manage shifting. Ran on stock 18" A/S tires and 2.73's, Steeda Cold Air and a tune.
94 Octane fuel, 22 Celsius, Alt. 699ft. 25 PSI rear tire pressure.
Just missed the best time AM got but they ran auto and I'm shifting.
Here is a clip of the run. The buffetting is from an open window. It was late and I just plain forgot to put it up, plus the track workers were more interested in their conversation as you can hear.
Please forgive the language at the end but I've been working hard on the car for the summer making some changes and they are really paying off. I had only managed a 14.053 @ 100.50 that night so a .3 sec drop floored me.
I ran against an '06 4.6L GT you can see in the vid as we warm up.
For more info on the car check here:

Now, not to stir the pot, but you Sixer's out there, here's the proof that a very lightly modded 3.7L can beat a V8 with it's own mods. I'm walking a little taller today.

Nice times! And yes, I agree about the V6 being able to beat the 4.6L. There's a lightly modified one at my track that I can beat too. And he's a good driver...so it's not a weak driver that I'm beating.

^did that on the stock tuning over a year ago with a 2011 3.7 mt82 2.73 car only mods we're jlt cf intake/pypes m80s mid mounted and running 93 octane gas.
Nice run though op my buddy is switching from 4.30s back to 2.73s ad I bet due to 2 less gear shifts he might run even faster
I just ran several 13.5 passes at 103mph sunday when I ran my 13 3.7 mt82 w/3.73 gears&steeda 93perf tune on drag radials and my buddy ripped off a 13.3@103mph
Me and my buddy running modded 3.7s routinely beat modded 4.6s at the tracks we run locally. Even several 5.0s that need driver mods.
Not to mention he also beat a supercharged 350z, a twin turbo 300zx well modded and even a zl1 that needed a driver mod![Catfight](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/catfight.gif)
The look on peoples faces when we pop the hoods and they look at that little motor nestled in there is priceless

Thanks for the kind words everyone. One of the track workers watching pulled me over after the run and said, "****, you drove that like you stole it!". It's definitely 13+ seconds I'll never forget.

nice run for a manual. looks like you're hooking up pretty well too.
I'd be willing to bet you can shave 0.3-0.4 off your 60' which should put you down into the low 13s.
I see you're lowered, do you have LCA relocation brackets? I hear they help quite a bit

It's actually not lowered yet, and Steeda is installing the springs and struts Friday so I will ask if they are required. The LCA's really helped the side to side wash the stocks provided.

required, no. but when you lower your mustang, your LCAs will be pointing slightly downward, instead of close to level, or slightly upward. I'm not really in the mood to get into suspension design and the physics involved, but if you're interested, read and
for more detailed info.
both are great books, my copies are tattered and torn and in need of replacement
