13/14 conversion

Just kinda curious and striking up conversation.... has anyone on here actually done a complete 13/14 conversion on their 10-12's? Front AND rear

Funny. I have not but this got me to thinking. I think the front of the 11/12 is better than the 13/14 but definitely like the rear of the 13/14 better than the 11/12. The factory valance on the front of the 11/12 sucks IMO, but with an aftermarket valance the front of the 11/12 looks mean as hell, IMO.

10-12 plus Boss valance and splitter = the best S197 front end. Especially with 13-14 head lights.

truth
I like that the sides rocker panels on the 13-14 are body color painted. I like the 13-14 taillights but for some reason i like the 11-12 unpainted bottom valance.
I LOVE the 13-14 hood though. If I could get a 13-14 hood or if someone made the cutouts for the 11-12 hood like that, i'd be happy.

This makes the 11/12 look awesome. I had this chin spoiler on my 11 GT.

My son is looking for a used GHG 12 or 13. I just had a conversation on this. Love the 10 11 better.

Depends on if premium or not, and what options...if it's a TP or BBP car with EP and Glass Roof, that's an amazing deal.

I like the Shelby front end the best, then the 13/14, then the 10/11/12. IMO, the black ground effects made the 10/11/12 look cheap, especially on certain colors.

I kind of agree, but then also sometimes I look at my '13 and just think how fat and tall it looks with the painted lower valences

Has anyone done just a rear conversion but kept the front?

Yes and it looks stupid because the rockers aren't painted, so it looks like the back end is dragging.

I prefer the black side skirts and wish there was a nice way to carry that across to the 13-14 bumper. I'd be doing it if there was. The 10-12 just look more athletic and "thinner" which is exactly what the Ford designers wanted with the black lower plastic. Unfortunately, a lot of people bad mouthed the design, so they returned to the painted panels for 2013, just like the 05-09 GT.

I did a search, and couldn't find any pictures of this. Are you subscribed to any threads where someone did this? let me know, thanks

Not off the top of my head, but I want to say some of the Boss 302S race cars have been done up like this.
