From one fellow SW owner to another...
Have faith in the trans man. My car gets driven pretty hard and my tranny is whined since 800 miles. 9200 miles later (an a few clutches) the tranny is still great.
The whining is just a characteristic of the tranny in my opinion and has no relation to durability

Thanks! It shifts fine. The whine sounds great and the SW exhaust sounds even better!

Last night first gear grinded 3 times. It just wouldn't go in almost like there's something blocking it.
Just now when I tried to move from a full stop I shifted into first and the car wouldn't move it just revved. I tried again and it just revved, then again and it worked.
Anyone know where I can get a good deal on a TR6060 or a T56 Magnum?
Which is better? What would you get? I'm not going to be replacing my trans just yet because it's still functional.
I love this car!

I have about 3800 miles on my 2012 Mustang GT and I LOVE THE CAR.
The car is absalutely perfect and the best I've owned to date!
At about 3,000 miles I notice my trans start to whine. It sounds good...kinda like a supercharger whine...
I feel like my trans will die on me soon and I definetly don't want to put in the same type of trans.
What are my options? I won't even bother going to the Ford dealer about it because there pretty much nothing they can do for me because there is no fix and they don't give a crap anyway.
I have LT headers, catted x, catbacks, CAI and tune. I know they'll blame it on the mods.
Tr6060 for 3k plus $500 install.
Your thoughts? Is the tr6060 a good transmision? What would you put in?
Thanks everyone.

That would run counter to my expereince with the TR6060 in my car. I had bigger issues with the shifter.

My only issues with the drivetrain have been with the clutch (admittedly due to my habit of barely disengaging the clutch when I'm on the fly) the tranmisssion on the other hand has been pretty flawless. No grinding issues wth the synchros, just a bit notchy.
I felt the shifter was had to long of a throw and wasn't as precise as I wanted it to be but MGW's shifter solved alot of that.

I'd rather have a TR6060 then an MT82 especially if I'm going to continue modifying my car. It's about 3k brand new and if this MT82 doesn't ever get a fix I won't be replacing it with another one. Theres got to be a reliable transmission out there.

Yes, I know that but the warranty isn't doing anything for those who have been having tranny issues for a year now.
Not just that but I have LT headers, full exhaust. They'll use that as an excuse to not work on my power train.
