The top of 4th with the 275/40/19 tires and 3.73:1 gears is ~117 so there is no need to shift to 5th.

O and is your clutch holding up so far? I have a feeling that is a very week point.

oh yea the clutch is fine, but how I am launching is part of why the clutch is fine, no slip off the line, I am way more concerned about the clutch than ET

Ok - didn't think about either the taller-than-stock tire nor the tune (especially the tune). Thanks.

FYI...Tirerack lists those tires as turning 755 revolutions per mile. With 3.73s in 4th (1.32), you hit the 'soft limiter' 6850 rpm at ~111 mph, and the hard limiter 7000 rpm at ~113 mph.

The math:
1.32 * 3.73 * 755 / 60 = 61.955 rpm/mph
6850 / 61.955 = 110.6 mph
7000 / 61.955 = 113.0 mph

NOTE: If I have the specs for the wrong tire...well...ooops again, I guess. LOL

Ok, I had the right tire and was using the correct revs/mile number (755). As pointed out to me by a very knowledgeable member here, tire diameters are unloaded, and thus revs/mile provide a more accurate estimate.

Anyway....and again....you have a bumped limiter (#1 thing I would do), so its a rather mute point.
