1100 mile road trip in the 5 OH!
Just got back from a two day, 1100 mile road trip. Car ran great w/ zero issues
First stop, a 6 hour drive, was a visit to Stainless Works in Chagrin Falls, OH to get some mufflers replaced. They gave me a tour of the facility and I got to see a lot of neat stuff - how exhaust components are made from start to finish and the machinery that they use. Great group of guys!
Here is a video tour made by them of their shop facility:
Next up on my trip was a 3 hour drive up to Dearborn, Michigan to visit Livernois Motorsports. I already had a Livernois mail order tune, but with the #8 issues people have been having I thought it would be worth the extra drive to get her dyno tuned by an expert. They too gave me a shop tour which was really amazing to see: their install bay (with great projects they were working on for customers), Dan Millen''s race car, various shop cars, rooms and equipment that they use to assemble engines, etc. Afterward, I drove by Ford HQ - which was down the street - and saw the building where they do R&D. Was cool to see.
