It's happened!! 10,000 miles!

I am happy to say that she is getting waxed and treated today.. well all weekend. 10k miles and the only thing the dealer has needed to do is swap the trans fluid per the tsb. She runs, shifts, sounds, rides and looks like a dream.

 

 

30 MPG??? How did you manage that? Mine just turned 10k recently as well.

I made 10k about 2 months ago. I've never seen 30 mpg.

 

Congrats! How long did it take you to get to this milestone? (Daily driver?)

 

30mpg? Lol...do you ever open your car up? My V6 isn't even anywhere near 30 and I highway drive all the time too.

 

never burned any oil or had issues with the motor.

11.5 months and yes its my daily driver

Ive had the car past 140 mph on a closed course in mexico. I was driving extra good that tank to see what I could do if I really tryed. MY V6 vert I had as a rental car while my five hundred was in the shop was getting 29.5 mpg and I drove it like it was a rental.. cuz it was.

 

Certainly his was a short, controlled highway segment (for show). His 10,000 miles overall are nowhere near that, for sure (even highway driving).

Tsb for trans fluid? Uh oh...what other tsbs am I missing? . I don't take mine to the dealer ever, so hence I never know any news or needs I do all my own oil, etc

 

im lucky to have a great dealer. I forgot that I had a battery issue also in the 10k miles. The TSB is for a clunky shift in some temps. I really couldnt tell a huge differance.
