05-08 Style Spoilers Phased out in 09
Through a Little Parts Catalog Cross Referencing it Appears all The 05-08 Style Rear Spoilers are Done in 08.No New 09 Spoilers Listed yet. This would Seem to Indicate Decklid and Or Rear Changes in 09. Also Shelby Spoiler is Indicated for use in 08 which would indicate a continuation of the Gt-500 in 08. BTMO!
Enjoy!

Parts Cataloging is Indicating that!
BTW Last Day of Production for 08's is May 27 2008. So 09's would Start Production in June or July 08. More Mid Year Cars! Looks Like a trend!

The Challenger will will be cool regardless
As for the Camaro.....

(OH and by the way - Kevin Casey RULZ!!! Way to keep hitting us with the inside info tidbits man!!!)
It could be simply that they are using a different spolier in '09 that will carryover into the new bodystyle,
Otherwise, it could be various things, it could be that the service parts are not updated as quickly as the standard parts list.
In either case, its too bad they will probably be pushing the new car back a year, as it would be perfect timing to take a lot of the Camaro's steam away.

That is pretty cool. I wonder what the new version would look like. Personally the current spoiler is too plain for my tastes.
The Camaro and Challenger will both hit the markets in LATE 2008. I would expect a October / November delivery of the first few cars that roll off the assembly lines. Camaro will be maunfactured in Oshawa and the Challenger at Bramton.
The 2010 Mustang COULD hit the streets in July / August of 2009. That is only a few months behind the release of the two other cars. So the time between the cars might not be that bad... And I am looking forward to the compitition since it should put more buying power back into the hands of the consumer and not with the dealers.

We are for sure going to see "hips" on the next car. That is a given. I want to know about the 1/4 windows, wheel to fender gap, front nose angle (if you can call it that)
I want a car that looks as good as the compititon and undercuts them in price (outperforming in performance)... It's a dream, but hey.
Boomer, can you get inside either of those plants?

If I hopped the fences and security..sure
hahaha
No..but I could see the parking lots
As for the next gen..yes we know hips.
We just don't know whether the 09MY or 010MY will be the redesign.
All we know for sure is that ... the greenhouse will be the exact same shape as it is now...meaning more than likely the quarter window will be there... but maybe different shape? to differentiate the 2 gens?
Best guesses...

Yeah, that I have no clue on... [1/4 window] That is what I want to know. I like the current one, but sometimes the finish of the greenhouse to the decklid looks strange to me. Go figure though, since I am currently stang-less I have become very picky.
I thought I would ask. You are closer to both of the plants than I am.

I think the current greenhouse from the window sills up is as near as makes no difference to perfect. Great lines, quarter windows, good visibility, etc. With any luck the 09/10 update will preserve the greenhouse and just refine/restyle the body, as with the SN95 update.
Info on Model 2010 changes from Ford worker
At Woodward Dream Cruise a Ford worker told me a model styling change will be in 2010. The front end, fender line will be dropped to match the side body line all the way back to the rear fender hips. This will create the appearance of a higher hood because the front end will be dropped. Hips are in for the rear. No other info. Didn't get a chance to talk too much longer than that info.
If they're replacing the rear quarter panels, the only other thing they would need to do would be a new decklid in order to have a built in ducktail. which would be a good reason to discontinue the spoiler.
I'd like that a lot
