I have done the 0 miles to empty once. Just to see the red happen.

"Neat!" says I when it happened. Of course, it was at 10 miles... and that's how far I hadda go to get the gas.

Very nifty item. Doesn't work if the 'all red' is on with the IUP though (I checked.) It should totally turn white in that case.

My previous Mustang guage would turn red when the low fuel light came on. Can't remember how many miles to empty was showing.

And yes, Ford would've brought you a couple of gallons. I usually carry a 2 gallon jug in the trunk (of my SHO) for just these purposes. Emergency back-up, if you will...
Zero miles to empty on a GT500 is about 9 miles.... Dont ask me how I know
