That was one of the best finishes I've seen!!
That was probably the 2nd best I can remember.

The best finish I've seen was the 2003 Darlington race where Ricky Craven beat Kurt Busch by .002 seconds (about 3 inches).

That was a great race. I would rank that finished 3rd for me. My favorite is Bill Elliott vs. Dale Earnhardt in the 1987 Winston when Bill knocked Earnhardt into the grass and Earnhardt still won. I was made as heck, but it is probably my favorite "close" finish.

Ok well if going to go back that far, I'll go further back. Silver Fox vs the King at 1976 Daytona 500. After battling for several laps they wreaked. Petty couldn't start his car, just a few feet from the finish line. Pearson got his car running and crossed the finish line at 20-30mph.
