Beautiful- but very windy- day in Ohio today...funny we had the cars out today, stopped to get gas, this lady probably age 50~60 came out of the store and asked "thats a gorgeous car- what year is it"
it still amazes me how young/old still like these cars...dropping the kids off at school, the kids always point and ask the kids about the car, last fall my wife was getting gas a older guy probably in his 70's came up and said how much he liked her mustang. just felt funny somebody asking the year, as if it were 30 years old already
back in like '82 I was driving my 69, stopped outside a restaurant, this little girl probably 5 years old was walking by with her parents and she runs up to the window and said "gee mister, this is a neat car"...thought it was funny- one, being called 'mister' at only 18, and second even a little kid picked it out and had to say something...
always felt the 05-09 will be the next '69' model as far as general appeal goes- maybe theyre well on their way already, even as just a 'late model'

I gave her a thumbs-up and she returned the salute.

I had my VB gt out last week on the way to work and i had a guy yelling out his window. He said Hey man your f*****g car is the S***. I just said thanks and smoked his 85 monte carlo ss after he did a big burnout.

Last year I was driving around town, rolled past a house that has multiple mustangs including an S197.. and the kids still were screaming "That is the coolest Mustang ever!"
I also know someone that is a huge fan of red, ask them what color a mustang should be and they'd respond "Anything but red is sacrilege"... she admitted while looking embarrassed that she loved my Vista more than the Red's!
Mine might makes its spring debut this weekend, hope it the weather and other factors work out.
