New Vista Owner

Hello all, Thought I'd drop in and introduce myself. Im a new 2007 Vista Blue GT owner.

My Cousin died a few weeks ago and left me a 2004 F250 Superduty Powerstroke, Liffted 6" on 37" or something like that. It was in less than stellar shape. I took it to a dealer and traded straight across for My Little Pony.

I ordered a Brand New Red 1989 GT while in the Army in Europe, but Ford cancelled the order due to paint problems with Bright Red and offered me a Metallic Red GT instead, which I turned down, so I've never owned a GT. I did have a 99 Sonic Blue V6, years ago, but always longed for a GT.

Here she is in all her Vista Blue Glory.

Thanks Cousin Ron

Sorry you lost your cousin. It was generous of him to leave you the truck!

Really like the Vista Blue. If I didn't like the frustration of keeping a black car clean so much (I need my head examined), I would have gone Vista Blue as my choice.

I'm sorry for your loss! That was extremely nice of him to leave you his truck, which now got you into your first Mustang GT.

Congratulations on the new car, enjoy it! You're going to meet a lot of great people on this forum and find a ton of awesome reads. Feel free to hit me up if you ever have any questions or need some assistance!

I'm sorry to hear about your loss.

Hopefully the Mustang brings you joy and keeps your cousin's memory alive

Thanks Guys. I felt a little bad at first that I didn't keep the truck, then realized that gifts are exactly that, a gift and you should do with it what you want, gifts don't have strings attached, if he had left me money he would not have told me how to spend it.

Can't believe the dealer traded me straight across, but the car had been on their lot for over 170 days. Oh well, its mine now. Have had many people not believe its used, less lone has 82K on it.

Again, thanks, and this site is what persuaded me to go the Mustang route, as I've typically been a euro-import guy in the past, and was looking for an older M3 when I decided my midlife crisis screamed V8.

It already had a Corsa Extreme exhaust, sequential tails, CAI, and Granetelli TB. It might have more that I don't know about yet as I've barely started exploring her.

Let more Mods begin.!

Welcome! I like the color too - but my opinion is a little biased

I am a recent owner (as of 21 November, 2014) of a 2007 Vista Blue GT. Like the wheels on your GT.

Welcome to the site.
