I personally would NOT pay for such an expense on an older model unless it was a pristine collectible. You will get similar results from a quality ceramic wax applied by hand yourself if you can physically do it. It takes hours to slowly do it but I have been extremely impressed with the results. So much so that I have done it to all 3 of my cars. Super shine and very long lasting if you apply the ceramic detailer once in awhile afterwards.
I have used Meguiar's and Mother's ceramic wax liquids and ceramic detailer sprays. They are under $20 each at Walmart or one of those sales at your auto parts stores.
My 23 year old Trans Am has it's original paint, except for one rear quarter panel (accident) and look at that shine! My now 10 year old GT and newer 4 year old R/T shine beautifully as well. You can decide which is best for you. As long as that paint is protected, that's all that matters.

I ceramic coated my 2006 Mustang GT last year...yes, it's a show car and the paint was almost perfect...so the tech just had to do minor correction to make it worthwhile. If your paint has lots of swirl marks and scratches, they would need to be removed first. Not an imnpossible task is the paint is somewhat workable.

Our life is back to normal. and dealing with chores that are now nothing and just routine, like clearing the leaves from the driveway. I had to go out today and couldn't believe the driveway was covered again. Just yesterday it was clean and perfect.

We were very fortunate as the eye came over our county and the damage was mainly just east of us. We didn't have power, or phones or anything for a few days but it was nothing compared to the towns wiped out. We finally can get our cooking/drinking water again so we don't have to travel to GA anymore to get it.

Beautiful yard..
Sweet Challenger, Just a beauty.
Your part of NC is quite spectacular.
I'm not a big city fan but i'm here in Seattle and close to the water.
I get the leaves too.
My neighbors, oak sheds directly on my yard and as you know, oak leaves are practically cardboard.
Looks like you got a few in the mix out there.
I am doing some research on the Ceramic coatings.
There is this 2 part product on Autogeek that looked promising SONAX CC36 Ceramic Coating, it's a lot of steps but sounds like a good product.
I am going to read up on it some more.
I research a lot before buying.
And I still get surprised sometimes.
Thanks for connecting.
Enjoy the turns.
