06 Saleen SC Vert

Can anyone tell me if the dumps are absolutely necessary on the 06 SALEEN SC? I don’t love the sound of the magnaflows as they rattle a bit and I wanted to swap them out for some Roush mufflers that do not have the dumps. Any help is much appreciated.

In regard to the muffler swap, if your 06 Saleen's rear valance has the rectangular cutouts in the center, you will need to swap out that valance for a non- s/c valance which has the traditional cutouts similar to an OEM Mustang GT... Otherwise, you're pretty much going to have to stick with the dumps... In the meantime, I would suggest going to performance-oriented muffler shop and perhaps they can figure out a solution for you...

Really hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it appears the Saleen forums are down... I've been a Saleen forum member on their site for well over 10 years, but whenever I've attempted to log in during the last 2 months, I continuously get the following database error display, "The saleen forums at soec.org database has encountered a problem"... Therefore, I have no idea what's going on with their forums...

I Suppose You Could Leave The Tips Non Functional & Find a Muffler Close Enough in Size to Fit Saleen Rear Fascia. A Trip to a Muffler Shop That Does Performance Cars Might Be a Way To Go! May Also Have a Substitute Muffler Which Could Simply Replace Existing Setup. A Good Muffler Shop Can Be Pretty Creative!

Tell me about it, I was attempting to log in over there in hopes to find some feedback about that fuel relay device the previous owner had installed... So yes, it really blows when you can't get some answers about your supercharged, Saleen!
