Stop it, Donna!!! You are making me sick for my car! If there was any doubt that the production Tungsten could look as good with silver stripes like the show car, I think you proved that mighty well!

The reflection that spans the hood and stripes on the third daytime shot has
me sold on paint over vinyl. Just beautiful

looks great but you stole my stripe pattern Same gap and size that I am getting painted on in January.

:P You got a preview.
Actually I gave the painter leeway. I just told him I wanted 12 or 13" stripes and 12" 2" was what he came up with to line things up nicely. I knew I wanted them wider than the 10 1/2" ones I had on the other car.

Thanks for all the nice comments everyone!!

I was quoted $700. It took him alot longer than anticipated, so I don't really think he would do another for that, but he was willing to stick to the original price quote. I was so impressed with the job that I paid him $750 which I still feel like was a awesome deal. I wish I could have tipped him more. This guy takes alot of pride in his work. You can't feel the stripes at all.

Donna,

I think your stripes look amazing. It is also with a sort of bitter sweetness that i say that because now i don't know what color of stripes to get for mine

originally, i had decided to go with black stripes on my tungsten gt (it will be arriving here in january) but after seeing your stripes i am not sure anymore. i am split down the middle between silver white now and black.

regardless, they look awesome Donna...best stripe job i have seen yet
