I also ordered mine through military sales (AAFES). I also got the fanblades for $255 (great price).. From what i gather the 18 inch wheels come with an upgraded suspension??
I'm paying about $2000 under MSRP.

I just ordered mine last Friday 8/5. I ordered the Premium and everything but Mach 1000 and auto and just the 64D wheel upgrade. I also ordered the interior color upgrade so we'll see how the red goes with Tungsten. The dealer only put a 55 priority because my wife told me the car was a Christmas present so I hope it gets here sometime in December? When do guys think it will get here.

The arrival will depend entirely on your dealer's allocation and how many people are in front of you at that dealership.

You can add one more Tungsten GT 5spd with ICAP! Ordered 7/20 in Torch Red with 64W wheels. Changed to Tungsten on 7/28 with std 17" bullitt's.

Yup, ordered O6 GT Premium in Tungsten with airbags on August 20th 05. Ordered color according to the dealer chip but things are starting to change based on the other posts on this site.

I ordered one the first week of August. My salesman said there is one GT ahead of my order and he will know his allocations next week and will be able to tell me if I will have an October build date. He is pretty confident that he will get at least two GT's allocated for October. Until then I am keeping my fingers crossed so that I will get it before I have to park it for the Canadian winter..........

Mine is ordered, but I'm having second thoughts. It's not the same color as the 2004 show car. I finally saw one in person.......it is a unique color.

That's interesting since someone on here got the paint codes for the show car and the 06 Tungsten and looked up the formulas and they're the same.

I think what everybody is getting hung up on is that it's a high metal-flake content paint, which means it looks radically different under different lighting conditions. The pics of the show car were taken under high-intensity inside show lighting. You will never get that look outside, even in full sunlight, though the bright sunlight pics I've seen of it look awesome, and are very similar to the show car pics.

Now I need to wander down to my local dealer that's got 3 Tungsten cars according to Ford's inventory and actually see it in person. Should (hopefully) be able to do that tonight after work.
If it looks anything like the various pics on here, I'll be sticking with it.

I am sticking with mine too. I used to have a pick up that changed colours in different lighting conditions and that is what I loved about it.

I just got back from looking at a V6 in Tungsten. It's most definitely grey, with an ever so subtle purpleish hue to it. It is VERY subtle. It's darker that Satin, but not as much as I thought.

Anyway, I'm sticking with it.

Ordered 05 feb 2 tourch red, never came. Ordered TG end of July as soon as the dealer was able to order. What makes this TG so likable? Everyone thought it was going to be the show car color but it isn't. Should I keep this color or change back to TR??
