Had my torch red since April and wouldn't have got anything else

Once I got the chrome bullitts and white stripes put on it seems I don't go anywhere without getting comments.

I had the antenna deleted and the hole filled in, the mirrors, lower grille and CDC spoiler painted.

 

i just got my tr gt last friday, but its an 06 .....i thought it was a one year only color?

Count me in among the legion of Torch Red owners. Yesterday, I picked up my `06 GT Premium coupe, which I ordered on 9/24/05. Options and equipment include ICAP, IUP, active anti-theft, side airbags, 64W wheels, wheel locks, 5-spd manual and the Shaker 500 audio system. When I first ordered the car, I selected the 64E 18" fan blade wheels. However, the first photos of a Torch Red GT convertible with the 64W's, posted here on the TMS forum, convinced me that I had to get my order amended. That was probably the best decision I made because the car looks just gorgeous with those 18" polished Bullits. (My wife is calling it my new "metal mistress.") The car was definitely worth the wait. What a blast to drive and even to just hear it idling! Ford hit a grand slam with this Mustang.

I will follow-up with photos of my car, but I need some help since I'm not sure how to add an attachment to my mesage! Yes, I'm somewhat of a dinosaur, so I'm hoping some of you fellow Torch Red owners can give me some instructions or point me in the right direction.

Torch Red rules!!! Got my 2006 V6 manual coupe recently and I am loving it. First ever Mustang!! What's all this about a one year only color? Mine's is an 06 and it's Torch Red. Truly is a classic color for a Mustang (or any sports car for that matter). Peace out.

 

Call me biased but i think its absolutely the best color for any mustang . It definately stands out in the crowd , and besides it matches my 90GT as well

 

All I can say about the Toch Red is "I've always been a sucker for a RED HEAD."

Lets see some pictures of these black stripes, i've been debating white or black stripes for the longest time.

 

 

You mean.... they make'em in other colors?

 

Yes. My brother bought a Screaming Yellow '05. He ordered it 12/4/04 and it took until 5/4/05 to get it. It was worth the wait. But it made it much more painful to me, since I had to wait another year before I would get mine.

It was TORCHer seeing him drive a great new car. It was even worse after he let me drive it a couple of time. I wanted mine right then, but had to wait. I was patient, and I'm glad I waited.

I was able to get the 18" polished Bullitts, and they look fantastic on this Torch Red. The yellow is nice, but nothing else compares to Torch. I'm just glad I didn't have to wait as long as he did after I ordered it.
