I was planning on ordering my GT but my local dealer called to let me know this one had just come in; and off the truck on Saturday. I showed up that afternoon and it was love at first site. He has every other color in a V6 and only this one GT in Torch Red. The Parchment interior really stands out with this color.

By the end of next year... torch red owners will be unique because torch red is a one year only color

Awesome car, Scott. I've bookmarked this forum so I can head directly to where I can see TORCH RED Stangs! Although it's rather tortuous to see these cars at times since I must wait until Spring to acquire mine...

I like the parchment interior too. I've had way too many GRAY interiors over the years. The parchment interior is elegant, yet sporty. I'm opting for the red leather myself. I have the urge to be flashy! B)

 

Thanks Chris, I originally wanted the red interior too but I did not want to wait for an order to come in. I see you have an Audi; I have a TL Type S. Are you planning on keep the Audi when you get the Mustang. I love having the Mustang and the Acura. It's nice having a luxury car and a muscle car in the garage. I took the Mustang to work on Monday and the Acura today. All the guys at work were upset not to see the Mustang today. They told me I had to bring the stang tomorrow.

I'm very happy with the Audi, but I know I will be even happier with the Mustang! In retrospect, I wish I had waited and kept my 2001 Mustang a while longer. I have had 3 Stangs in the past 10 years, one involving each styling change (ie. tail lights, sheetmetal, etc.). I purchased the Audi because I loved the way it gripped the road. I never had a Mustang with traction control before, so I am hoping the '05 Mustang won't let me down. I WISH I had the luxury of keeping the Audi, but my wallet says "one or the other!"

I've got the car for sale on eBay if you're curious. Key in 4512555028 in the item search window for pix. My handle says it all: americancarnut. Dang! I should have been patient and waited for the '05 Stang to hit the showrooms!

I test drove the Acura TL. Sweet ride, but at the time, I already had my heart set on the Audi. I'll always like Audis (no one trick pony here; I like all kinds of cars for different reasons), but if past performance says anything, I'll be back in a Ford in the near future...

Torch red over hear. I was gonna get a sonic blue gt but my dad convinced me on the torch red. Now I wouldn'twant any other color..

Badandy here. SECOND member on the mustang source to receive a Torch Red Mustang and darn proud of it!

 

I'm a torch red guy. I just had white racing stripes put on yesterday and today I added sequential turn signals. I'll get some pics up soon. It was a blizzard here today. It looks absolutely stunning with the stripes. I had to buy her first tank of gas so I went to the full service station and everybody just huddled around her. Of course, my car seems to have the gas tank slow fill problem so I was there for a while.

 

I ordered a Torch Red V-6 5SP prem Vert with Red interior and blacktop, IUP, EUP, TC, Hope to have it by the end of May.

 

Mine is being built next week!!!

 

I've had my Torch Red GT since Jan. 29, bought it off the dealer lot and love it. It already had black stripes added to it, really improves the look of the car.
