Sonic Blue - too purple?

If you haven't seen Sonic Blue in person, go to your dealer and check out another Ford with the color. I did that Friday. I like the color a lot, it is a bit purplish, but not too much, IMO.

I don't think its purple at all
Its just a dark blue, great color imo

I used to have a ranger, that was atlantic blue...I loved that color...but...I can't tell you how many heads turn and comment about my sonic blue vert.. Last Saturday an 80 year old man with a silver v6 coupe walked over a half mile...saw my car and stopped...he couldn't stop about the color...

But imo the color of the car is dependant on the sun...if it's evening or night, yes it does have a purple tint.. If it's sunny then it's a very very bright blue. That was the reason I bought it... Also, there aren't too many sonic blue stangs around..and that is good news....

I posted a couple of pics, if you look at the top pic, it does have more of a purple...the bottom it looks more blue...it was sunnier when I took the bottom one.

I'd like to see Ford bring back Bright Atlantic Blue

Anybody got a sample of True Blue (have to see it before I make call)

I went to the Ford dealer yesterday to look at the Sonic Blue on a 04' Stang,

WOW! that is a beautiful color!! It did have a hint of purple in it, but not too much. I am more sold on that color than ever! If you haven't seen the color in person, go check it out. The pics do not do it justice!!!

I think the Sonic Blue looks a little too Purple to me also. But, it does look very good!
I wouldn't get it, because it is "in style" now. I would only get Black, Red or Silver on a Stang.
But, if was getting a SVT Focus, I might consider that color!

When I see the Sonic Blue on a Stang at the Dealer, I will be 100% sure then!

Like that one guy said before, there is no right or wrong!

What do you mean, "before I make call"? If you are thinking you can order an 05 in True Blue, the color is not available.

I think he's talking about his opinion regarding which blue is nicer. Not necessarily for ordering it on the Mustang, just what would look nicer.
