problem with yellow is, black looks like a bee, and white on yellow is a Z28 color pattern. I have looked at a few of ours trying to picture stripes and just dont see it. The Steeda-style black wide stripe on the hood and a black spoiler probably looks the best. A buddy of mine has a 98 done like that with an electric blue pinstripe just inside the edges and it looks fantastic!!!

I would do the hood just like this, paint the spoiler black, the mirror tops yellow, and do the black tail light panel. GM did a lot of cars in the 60's with lemans stripes on yellow, mustang never had that traditionally. The wide stripe mimics the look of the older machs, I think that is why it looks so 'natural' on them.

 

A few months back on "American Hot Rod" they did a yellow
'66? '67? mustang with silver stripes, it didn't look too bad,
but still not sure what color stripes would look best.

I would have to agree with kevinb120 about the black hood,
just add the shaker scoupe and it's perfect. Except for the
painted lower grill pieces!

 

yellow with the dark grey stripes to match the bullit wheels and the dark charcoal interior might look good.
