Stripes~
Dash was painted yesterday on the Mrs car!
Im bringing the stripes into the interior on the Yellow GT!
Gonna be sweeeeet!!
The white is a primer sealer used for the yellow...:

TA DAAAA!!

and with 3 coats of clear.....(drum roll please!).......

Two vents will be yellow and two in the center will be black to blend in.
When the dash is put together the stripes will be 10-3/4" just like the rest of the car. Ill add pix when its on the car.

Ive since swapped out the spokes on the wheel. Put yellow but it took away from the dash so they are now black.
Dont have any good pix of the steering wheel. Here is a craptacular shot with my cell phone though....The sun played havoc with the cell camera.

I also went back and painted the center vents gloss black.
I thought the regular black would work but it contrasted too much.

I also just trimmed up the shaker....but now you can see the cam covers so those are next!

Relocated the Shaker badge to the back pass side of the shroud....

Yellow or black cam covers....?? hhhmmmmmmmmmmmmmm decisions decisions

I can't believed I missed this thread! That is a job done right!
I have been been wanting to paint my IUP dashboard, vents, and steering spokes Mineral to match the body but at the same time I am wondering if maybe getting a base dash might be the better choice just so I don't ruin the original dash in case I want to go back to stock.
What kind of paint did you use? Wish I had a booth do spraying like that.
