SS Stangs are Sweet
Well actually all Stangs are sweet!!
I wasn't even thinking silver for a color when I bought my car. I saw the car ad on craigs and actually thought I was going to look at a blue 05 GT. When the owner took the picture just the way the light was hitting it it looked blue. The car was in really nice near mint shape. When I was looking at it I was so preoccupied in how nice it was I was half way around the car before I realized hey this isn't blue...the owner looked at me like I was crazy LOL.
Anyways it was the type of car everyone wants to buy. One senior owner,100% stock, no accidents, meticulously maintained, non smoker, garage parked, only insured six months of the year and only driven on sunny days. I told my friend who came with me to pick it up the car was at least a 9/10. When my buddy saw it he said it is at least 9.5/10. The car was 9 years old when I bought it and only had about 35K miles on it. I have owned it for just over 5 years and it now has around 60K miles on it.
Some stuff I have done to it :
Ford Racing adjustable shocks and struts, Ford Racing strut mounts, Lowered with Steeda Sport Springs 1" front 1 1/4" rear, Steeda adjustable front sway bar with billet end links, Ford Racing front control arms, Ford Racing front control arm cross brace, Steeda chrome molly front control arm cross brace, Tower brace, Steeda rear adjustable sway bar with billet end links, Steeda rear billet control arms, Steeda chrome molly adjustable panhard rod and Steeda chrome molly panhard rod brace. Drilled Slotted Rotors.
Borla stinger axle back exhaust, Steeda cold air intake and carbon fiber intake, Old timer Diablo Sport Tuner, TCI ratchet shifter, Ford Racing wheels, a few cosmetic mods...louvers, hood scoop etc, sequential tail lights, a kick azz stereo Pioneer head unit, JL Audio C5 5x7 front and rear, JL Audio Stealth Box with 13W6 sub, Alpine PDX-V9 amp.
I did all the work myself, that the beauty of the internet and awesome forums like this, there is a video or install tutorial for everything. I will most likely keep the car until I die. I like my car as much or more today than the day I bought it

Thanks mine has been excellent too. Its my daily driver so that makes it fun. I just did the brakes all around (rotors & pads). I did the plugs a couple years ago..figured I had a better chance of getting them out. I threw a couple of codes sensor/actuator, so I put in a Ford Racing stock throttle body. I had a service light come on a couple times, I couldn't find anything wrong and there was no specific code so I just rest with my programmer...no issues so just a glitch I guess. The only thing I wish sometimes is it would be nice to have a coyote under the hood LOL
I was trying to find a picture of yours, I guess I don't know where to look??? Anyways what are you going to get now...a new stang???

@Glenn Nice Ride! You need to update your signature to let us know you are in the S550 crowd. So what do you have there? 2019 Performance pack GT?

Purchased the 2005, then puchased the 2006 gt.,Then ordered the 2009 California Special in 2008 and still own it. I have only driven it 3,500 miles and it looks great.
