xpel clear bra on Redfire

Anybody put the 3M clear bra on their front ends yet? Curious to know if any discoloration has occured and is pronounced with Redfire. Contemplating this but worry over the years whether UV fading would occur on the areas not protected really showing a difference.

I've spoken to a few XPEL installers... XPEL uses the 3M 8mil film ( ).. the film itself is guaranteed for 5yrs (installers say easy 7yrs) and also state with today's clearcoated paints, you won't get the fade or discoloration that old generation paints/finishes did. I'm going with the hood, bumper (front facing, not top of front bumper), mirrors, headlamps. Local dealer here said he custom cut/fit a piece for my CDC chin spoiler as well.

How is the shine on the bra compared to the paint?

it matches perfectly (shine of 3M material and finish)... here's a link to the pics... you be the judge. I waxed clear bra with NXT Tech Wax (same as paint).

Looks great! Just wondering if I can live with the line across the hood on my Redfire, which is my current dilemma. Looks perfect on WV!

I had the same concern... but honestly, no one even notices there's a clear bra on it until I point it out! Besides, hood nicks will look much worse! I already had 3 (down to bare aluminum) from small rocks. And if you have a chin spoiler, it will keep it looking new for a long time.
