I am too lazy to retype my story, so here is what Hatchman posted on another forum, this was last night.....
Jewls drove the Titan to work today. On the way home tonight, she got hit by a drunk driver. She was at a stop, and got hit by a Silverado doing between 45 to 80 mph, and pushed 2 car lengths into a 2000 Dodge Dakota, and totaled that vehicle as well. She is FINE. A little rash on her arm were she threw her arm up before hitting the Dakota and the air bag popped her in the arm.
The two guys in the Dakota are fine. The Dakota is probably totaled. Even the bed was pushed up into the cab.
The Titan, well, I'll take pictures tomorrow morning and post them. Oh wait, it is 3 in the morning, but I can't sleep. No doubt it is totaled. The right rear frame is bent over 18 inches out of place. The cab is intact, although several items inside of it are broke loose. I found pieced of plastic from the dash in the back floor board, if that gives an idea of what the impact was like. Front end is crumpled, right rear door won't even open.
A testament to Titan durability, the engine would crank and run fine. Radiator was busted, so didn't try that for long.
Anyway, I'll take some pics after the sun comes up. I'm sure the pics will speak louder than words.
I'm still shocked. At least Jewls is OK, the guys in the Dakota are OK, and the drunk driver is in the hospital, then going to jail. He was so drunk, they had to take him to the hospital, but the officer said it was just to get de toxed and checked out, since he was too drunk to stand. He didn't have a license, and the truck wasn't his, but it DID have insurance under the current owner, so we'll see how that goes, too early to tell.
So today instead of ordering an 06, we ended up buying another 05 so that I would not be without a car. Bob Amorelli and Gary Smith Ford in Ft. Walton Beach FL is by far the best GSM I have ever met. He went above and beyond, found me a GT in Georgia, and it will be here Monday. I got an awesome deal, and could not have asked for better service. The scrapes will heal, and so will my feelings.

Glad to hear Jewls is okay! As a police officer, Ive seen WAY to many accidents where everyone BUT the drunk get hurt. Hope the bastich gets a hanging judge.
Kinda a cruel way for the MAN upstairs to tell Jewls that she's definately getting a 'stang.
Be safe,

Wow! Glad to hear Jewls is OK, that must have been very scary for her. I've been watching the redfire vs black threads, so I'm glad they were able to find a color you wanted on the lot. I'll be sending good thoughts your way Jewls!

Thanks everyone. I must say, this is my first experience with a dealer who went above and beyond like this. I cannot tell you guys how much work he put into finding me a car, and how awesome he treated us while we were there, and gave us a loaner for the weekend!!! Please if anyone is in the Panhandle/Gulf Coast area, go see Bob at Gary Smith Ford for any Ford vehicle, he will treat ya right!

Glad you're not seriously hurt, Jewls. Where in GA is your new Stang coming from?
I live in west central GA. Good luck with the new car! That's great you're getting another one this quick!

The new stang is coming from Bainbridge, GA. I am very excited to be getting an auto GT so soon, but very sorry about Hatchman's truck, and still stressed about the circumstances. An 06 would've been nice, but ya do what you have to.

I'm really getting pissed about the truck. First off, I was just glad the Jewls was OK. But now looking at pictures of the truck get's me furious.
I can't wait to got to court to watch this guy fry.

Just out of curiosity, what stripe color are ya'll using for redfire? We were thinking REFLECTIVE black. This way, some drunk idiot cannot say he didn't see me this time. I know they cost twice as much, but it might be worth it.
