Red with Red

If you are getting redfire go with a dark interior. If you are getting torch, feel free to go with the (matching) red leather. DO NOT put plain red (i.e. just red) seats in a car with a deep red color like redfire. :nono: It's just not good form. There's an unwritten rule with interior/exterior matching. If you are going with leather seats, they should either complement your exterior (like silver on charcoal) or MATCH it exactly. The last thing you want to do is get a color in the same family but a totally different shade. People will think you aimed for a matching interior but missed b/c you are either daft, colorblind, or a member of the Mustang Source.
If you are crazy about the red seats (and please think of how you will feel about them 4 years from now, btw), they look FANTASTIC in a black car. B)

There's a Torch Red on red GT on the lot here in Victoria. It's striking but all that red might be too much after a few years. On the other hand, right now it looks hot and right now matters more!
If I hadn't already bought black on black, the red on red would be mine already...

I have this combination as well and I absolutely love it. It is just so amazing to open up my car (with dark tinted windows) and just be shocked by the color. It matches the car color very well. Don't think twice.

Redfire with red seats better look good because that's what I ordered in January, but not here yet. I thought about color combos for quite some time, and I believe this will be the most attractive combo, especially with the bullitt wheels.
I'm sure you will not regret this combo.

I have the Torch Red with ICAP and absolutely love it. IMO the red makes the interior in this car.
I haven't seen the Redfire/ICAP combo in person... from the pics posted, I haven't really been able to gauge whether I like it or not. I love how Redfire looks when light is shining on it, but too dark for me in "normal" light.
My guess would be that in the sunlight, the combo matches fairly well. But when Redfire is in its "darker" maroon-ish tone, that the red interior would look a bit off.
But when it all comes down to it, all that matters is whether you like it or not - that's why they make multiple color combos.
And if you are planning on tinting your windows, it won't matter at all whether the interior and exterior are a "perfect match" (and I would definitely recommend going with the tint - makes a HUGE diference in the look of the car IMO).

First of all doen't EVER listen to your dealer!!!!!!!!!! What kind of dumb advice is that? Get a color combo your going to want. BTW Redifire and the red leather match up rather nice.
I have absolutley no regrets, although when the car was on order it crossed my mind a few times, not any more, love the red in redfire.
Only downside is cops tend to notice the red mustangs a little more :notnice:

There there now, Dano. No need to hang your head in shame. I know the feelings of regret are sinking in. "Why oh why did I get two tones of red on my car?! The horror...the horror!" Not to worry though, I can always post pictures for you of what an attractive interior looks like in a redfire stang
okay I'll come off it now....

I love the Redfire and had a difficult time choosing an interior. Decided I didn't want ot go with the charcoal in a vert. The seats would get quite warm very quickly in the sun during summer if the top was down and the light charcoal was too light for the exterior.
The Redfire red interior should really catch the eye going down the road.

I get nothing but compliments on the color combo, but really it's all personal taste. Not many people are willing to rain on someone else's parade by saying "Love that exterior, interior stinks" though so take compliments with a grain of salt. My advice, stop looking at pictures and locate what you're interested in to get a first hand look. I was all set on silver until I saw it in person, and then saw the redifre. Barely got my order changed in time.
Also, if there are only a "few" voices of reason, maybe they aren't that reasonable
