ok I got a question. I just got my 06 VB fanblade machine 3 weeks ago. It's been washed maybe 6 times! ![Smile](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Is it me or do these fanblades look a little dull? Are they supposed to shine or are they supposed to have a sort of dull look to them? I know they aren't chromed but they look kind dull to me.

Nice, those Fanblades are definitely the way to go, much nicer than the tired ol' musket *****, errr, Bullitts, IMHO.
As for the finish, I think they're more of a "sateen" finish than a mirror shiny chrome (which might be an option?), which I think looks more refined and sophisticated rather than the "pimp my ride" chrome. But again, that's just me.

This is the thread that keeps on giving ![Biggrinjester](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrinjester.gif)
Steve, Zaino rules, you are going to be very pleased.
John, thanks, winter will be tough but I'll try to keep her that clean![Smile](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
rhumb, I really like these rims on this car and feel they truely fit the design
I also prefer this finish to a fully chromed fanblade myself. I am very happy I decided to upgrade to the blades.
Though my pics give a good idea of how the blades look, some of the finish is lost in the pics......here is how the finish looks in real life (thanks RMac for the pic)

wow... this thread is back.
Dan, you didn't pay someone off to resurrect this one for you did ya?
Here a larger version of the pic Dan posted.
They definitely aren't "dull" to me... especially when the sun hits them and the silver metallic portions reflect.
