Hey all,

Long time lurker, first time poster. Love the site.

First off, I just graduated from University, and got a pretty good job if I don't say so myself. By the end of the year, I can afford to buy a car that is reasonable (under $50,000 Canadian).

I've wanted a Mustang since I was 12. So it's obvious that this is the car I want.

But a concern. I want a redfire, but I want to put white stripes on it. This is a color combo that would seem obvious, but I haven't seen a SINGLE pic of this combo on a 2005.

Yeah, I know about the mod tool online, but was wondering if anyone had any pics of a redfire with stripes, preferably white ones.

Also. Would you put the white ones on the redfire?

PS - since I will be buying one @ the end of the year, I'm 95% sure I'll be going for a 2006.

I saw pictures of the redfire with white strips. I didn't care for the combo. The white strips stood out like a sore thumb. Have you considered gold, those look great for either red. Those pictures are on this website somewhere.

I had a 94 with the darker red and had white stripes. They do stick out yes, but isn't that what you want? They look amazing and if I end up getting a redfire mustang, I am going to do the same thing again (put on the white stripes). You will turn heads everytime you drive by people on the street!

I would consider a light silver. The metallic silver might look better with the mettalic redfire.

Better yet, Mineral Gray. Touch of red in the gray would make for an awesome, subtle yet distinctive combo IMHO. Depends on what you are going for though.

I'm thinking gloss black stripes for my Redfire...when it finally shows up. I think a Red/Black theme will look good. If you go to the Unique Performance Site they have a color selector that will let you see different combos on the Shelbys...(Unique Performance Color Selector It isn't exactly the factory colors but I think close enough to get a good feel and more realistic than the Stripe Painter.

Have fun!

I don't think any color stripes look too good on the Redfire. It is best untouched I think. White stands out, black doesn't really match or stand out enough, etc. I feel both reds are better as they are.

This is the only one I've seen. The stripes are silver though.

I was entertaining stripes as well, but the car looks so good without them

Someone posted this on a earlier post. I've been considering white stripes on my Redfire for some time but I have yet to decide (the more I look at it the more I think Redfire is a beautiful color by itself). I think it look good though. Very sharp!

I am definitely putting stripes on my Redfire. Probably silver or gray. I want it to stand out and be noticed otherwise it will just blend in with every other car that color on the road.....

Florida State/ Washington Redskin fans would appreciate the gold strips, about the only color combo that works for redfire...redfire looks best without strips.
