I am curious how white inserts instead of the satin AL ones on the existing Steering wheel would look? Since you have the white and blue thing going on, seems natural to do that.

Some Show suggestions, if, you do the show thing.

I do a lot of car shows and consistency of color match and like materials, combined with orginality is well received. Judges love neat ideas, and not necessarily expensive ones.

They LOVE White cars, especially if they are perfectly clean. And they comment to me the color combination of Blue on White is striking.

My Angel got a 4 foot trophy at the FFW Event Finals last week Her first one, since she is less than a month old.

The Judges there tell me all the same things and they judge cars all over the Country.

Hey thanks for the ideas, have you seen the white inserts anywhere. Or do you think that would be something custom. I guess I could paint them.....I 'll think on that one???? I'm trying to organize a group buy or somehthing on Stangnut's steering wheel? Anyone else interested. I'm about modded out, I still want to keep it simple, don't want to go over board......

I'm doing my first show Oct 7th, so I can use all the help in the world...

How is the "standard" steering wheel put together? Does it have removable "plates" on the spokes like the IUP wheel? If so, I'd see how much they cost and buy set to paint if it's not too expensive.

No problem. The white steering wheel inserts would be enough of a "change" and allow the black to tone over the white and blue already in your interior. It is about where you are indeed "done".

If you can get the inserts off and have them coated.

Another try would be to purchase a new wheel assy. and use the added Aftermarket inserts, modded to your color. It is an assy. that can be removed rather easily at the Dealership. Keep the original wheel for the event you desire to go back.

I'm surprised at how level the car looks. Did you take any measurements before & after?

the front was perfect, didnt have to do anything, the rear was a little higher than the front,so i cut a coil out of the top of the spring and took the lower isolator out and it sat perfect.

Ah. That explains it. I was pretty sure none of the springs out there would actually level it out like that.
Mine is level with just the Steeda rear springs, but I'd like to lower the front 1/2" or less just to get rid of a little of the gap. Any ideas?
