Just saw this post, thanks dude I like to play around with various methos of picture taking etc...I just need to get a better camera now!

My car doesn't get a whole lot of attention because it's sort of storm-trooper stealthy, but those who notice it often give me compliements on it's clean looks. this is why i'm struggling with the stripes decision.

honestly, these are the first blue stripes that I've actually really REALLY liked - they are the perfect shade of blue! most of the ones I see are too light...red/black/silver are hard to screw up, but it's tough to get just the right kind of blue for the white cars. awesome job!

I'm still deciding on stripes also. I agree about the "plain" look it has. Sometimes all the white reminds me of a blank canvas. Like something's missing and it's just begging for stripes.

I know what color blue I want and I know the size. Just not brave enough to do it yet.

Those pics are quite easy to do actually, you just need a stickypod.

IMO, Guardsman is too light for the '05. The original Shelby's were Wimbledon White which is a lot duller than the '05+ Performance White. Almost looks a little yellowish when they're side by side.
Because of this, I think a darker blue does better on the '05+. JMO.

Kristina,
This is pretty close to the color I'd get.

The car's from an eBay auction. They claim these stripes are Guardsman Blue, but there's also a lot of other things they claim in the auction that aren't true.

LOL
Makes me love mine even more. I'll give them this, It's unique. I've never seen a steering wheel that shape.
They didn't exactly pull out all the stops in their "tribute" though.
"Custom" hood scoop: It's a Roush scoop.

I just checked out there website, they only want $895 for it. Not too bad. They flat part is ok, but I like your rounded version better. I wounder if they could put in white pearl inlays instead of the other things. I might call them....
