I am glad to see other performance white owners! I havent seen any on the road yet. Saw one at the dealership--it had tan colored rocker Mustang on it though.
I agree on it being cooler especially with lighter interior and darker tint. It is the third white car I have owned.
I saw an ad for what I think was a 350Z or the infiniti and it was stating all these neat reasons why white is a great choice. I just wish I could qoute them now.

I'll bet that if it was not slipery that there would be enough power for that there Pony to lurch off that truck bed and land it ! Not that I'd ever try it ! Just a comment.

I really like Performance White, it was actually my first choice.
I can't say I regret not going with Performance White, but they do look great.
All though maintenance would be much easier with the white, I decided on black (my 5th black car so I'm a bit biased) knowing the time and effort it takes to keep them looking good, but I'm willing to do that and I do keep it garaged. B)

First time here. I love perf. white. I am looking right now at a Roush in with the blue stripes. It is missing the lower rocker stripes.
Maybe one of you could answer some questions for me. I dont like the stripes that they put on. They look to be about 6 inch wide and do not go to the bottom they stop at the bumpers. I would go with 10in my self. Will a professional installer be able to remove them?
They are asking 35k. Sticker says about 26k and the Roush package is 9k. Does this sound like a reasonable price? I would app. your opinions i have to make some decisions soon. Thanks...

I decided not to stripe the spoiler - it's still on the car. Maybe just a little different?
I also asked to have white space around the third brake light, GT emblem, and licence plate indent, along with ending the stripes a little before they would normally end - roof, hood, trunk. And to have the side stripes not wrap around the fender wells.

I thought I was the only one not to stripe the spoiler. Did you keep your spoiler on or have you striped it?

Just curious, why did you want the gaps?

so glad you got your performance white GT! :worship:

I've only seen one GT in performance white... it was beautiful, absolutely stunning. I have a Perfomance White V6 Premium Vert that as of 3-8 has been shipped by rail... dealer says it should be here by the 15th. I think that all of the colors are awesome, but to me, the white is so crisp and sharp...really makes the car stand out.

I actually had seen another White GT with light blue stripes that had gaps on them, and it looked nice. I wanted darker blue stripes, though. I recall a number of 'muscle' cars in the 60's and 70's would have hood stripes/patterns that did not go all the way to the front and back of the hood.
