Help from PW owners - brake colour?
Hey All,
I've ordered a set of GT 500 Brembo's for the car, and now I'm struggling with the colour.
I've been considering using a Brembo stencil to put the name on the calipers...so my original thought was red calipers with white logo. my BF thinks the car is to stealthy for red, and that I should do black paint with white logo. if i go with red, should i do the stock rears in red, or maybe just paint them black or leave them silver? it will also depend on how "pretty" the calipers are in person, behind the fanblades.
What do you guys think??
K

I'm sure you could find some grey paint that would work on the calipers -- maybe some high-temp stove paint (lots of color choices). The kits I've seen don't have grey, only silver. My thinking was the grey would kind of blend in from a distance, but look awesome up close. Stealth, baby!

Now I just need everyone's recommendations! I'm liking the idea more and more about grey!

well guys the brakes came in and they are gorgeous - powdercoated (i assume) black with the brembo logo in white.
i can't paint over them now, they are too nice. i would have gone for red i think, but i'll stick with the black for now.
thanks!

Ya, I love my bike...it's a blast. But I haven't ridden much this year as this was my first summer with the Mustang.
