Cant you could get more in trade in? I'll get around 18 grand (kellybluebook) since i pretty much have excellent interior/exterior just gotta repaint body kit and I have around 53,000 miles

Yeah I paid 18 even for my 07 and it was immaculate with 10,000 miles on it.

Oh yeah and I speak for my dealership only but generally if you're car is in great condition you take the price for "fair" on KBB and take a little off of that and that's about what you'll get on trade.

So it doesn't matter if it's convertible? Also it true the more stuff you add i.e sound systems turbo/superchargers and paintjobs depreciate the value of your car rather than raise it?

I think it depends, certain cars they can do things with but like some guy came in with a Honda Accord that he put all kinds of parts on exhaust, air filter, sound system and the managers were like what are we supposed to do with this? If it's a Mustang with some work done to it I'd imagine it would help as long as it wasn't anything too ridiculous.
