I've been scouring the internet for any sites that have shelby or rally-style stripes in Mineral Gray (or close). so far, most sites only offer the standard colors. anybody have any suggestions? thanks.

Go with silver, it's a much better contrast. MG won't stand out enough. I've got an MG car and toyed with black stripes but will probably go with silver or white for the contrast.

i'm probably going with dark gray for the stripes. i've seen too many silver stripes. i'd like something a little different. i want the stripes to be subtle too.

Yea, I like the subtle look, also... That's why I went with the grey stripes on my satin silver Mustang instead of black... Either choice, I think you will be pleased...

those stripes look great on SS! Did you get them from Baltimore Street Mods? That's where I'm thinking about going. They've got some new colors that I'm waiting to see samples of before I pull the trigger - Metallic Charcoal, Metallic Slate, etc...

Yes, that's exactly where I bought them from... Great quality kit and fairly easy to install if you just take your time... Front bumper was a bit of a pain in the #%@, but overall not that bad.... Good luck!

thanks for another pic! i'm leaning toward dark grey stripes to match my dark charcoal interior. i'm wondering how the dark grey shelby stripes would look on black? i have yet to see that color combo. i'm also trying to get more color samples from from Rob at BSM before i decide.

It really depends on if you want the stripes to stand out or compliment the car. I have black on MG and I think the black stripes stand out just enough, while complimenting the MG. I think the opposite color combination could look really slick. I think the TMS member "rrobello" has a picture of a black '05 with MG stripes in his avatar... you may want to PM him and ask him if he has a larger pic. If not, go to the photochop section and ask someone there to chop you a pic.
