FINALLY got a Legend Lime '06
The last (and only) new car I've purchased was my 1989 5.0 LX, way back in January 1989. With around 113,000 miles on the clock, it's getting worn out.
I've been waiting for what seems like forever to be able to buy a new Mustang. When the '05s came out, I was unable to afford one. Well, as of yesterday, I am the proud owner of a 2006 Legend Lime V6 coupe. See pics. The car was turned in to the dealer from a two year lease, one owner, about 25000 miles. It's beautiful.
Can anyone tell me how hard (or easy) it would be to obtain a copy of the original window sticker? I believe the dealer I got it from is not the original dealer, so I didn't ask them about this.
Thanks.

Looks beautiful! Now all you need are some silver stripes over the top and a supercharger and you'll be showing everyone on the road who's in charge
Seriously, congrats on finally getting your car, I know I dreamed for years of getting mine (which just showed up a month ago ).

getting the window sticker might depend on how hard you want one. if you can find out the dealer that sold the car, they would be able to create a copy from your VIN. from what i have found, only the dealer that sold the car when it was new can do this for you. i have a 2003 i have been trying to find the sticker, but found that the dealership that sold the car is out of business, so i am S.O.L. the older ones are not that hard there are places that can create ones for you but the newer models are not as easy unless you buy it new. also, some dealers just dont want to fool with this, they think its a waste of time to satisfy the customer. hope this helps.

Congrats on your aquisition and great color choice!
I just wish I could find a 1:18 scale model to match mine that was not outrageously priced on E-bay.
For what purpose do you want the original window sticker? When purchasing a new car, I understand the quest to save ALL of the documentation for the car's "scrap-book" but it might be a lost cause trying to track down the original since the original dealer may not lend a hand. You might try posting to the Legend Lime Registry to see if anyone there remembers the car or the "leasee". It is possible that person saved the actual original window sticker.

I know that when I owned a VW, I called VW of America and they sent me out a new window sticker, because the dealer ripped mine in half. I imagine you could call Ford's headquarters, and they would be able to help you out or point you in the right direction. I love the color. I see you live in Sandusky, I live in Westlake, maybe I will see you at some of the regional car events.

Very nice car! I went to get a LL Pony but the dealer had already sold it. I still think Legend Lime is one of the best colors - congrats on a great find!

Nice car! Good luck with it!! About the window sticker. Just go into the dealer you purchased the car in, an ask the salesman that helped you with the car that you want the original window sticker from the car, from there he will have to call Ford Corporate i think and they will process the order for a window sticker reprint, thats how i went about getting mine. Takes about 1-2 weeks for the sticker to show up at the dealer. Im guessing its done alot for the cars that get the window stickers ripped or whatnot before there sold.
