Transformers III- The Resurrection
Thanks. I did it myself.
I added an ebrake handle some guage pods, a Raptor shifter light...and a few more things.

It actually looks better in person.
The Raptor shift light is on.
Mounted to the Speed Of Sound pillar pods:

Me and a friend put the Saleen Racecraft N2 suspension on yesterday....took us about 4 hours.
In the end we were finishing it in the dark!

This morning I drove it to a place that the local Viper owners use....as it has a drive on,
brand new, alignment machine.
Barry is now one straight dude!!

Kinda cool eh? The owners name is Jeff. He owns both of them. Keeps one in Lubbock (see the Texas inspection on the windshield?) and the other in LA. He just puts one on eBay every blue moon to get an idea of the value of it. I dont believe he has any intention of selling it....hence the very high reserve.
But my Barricade now has Radar....

Front antenna:

Back antenna:

I mounted the controller on the left but I have enough wire in there to put it in my lap or in the center console when driving.

Coming up next....the Laptop!!

I found this guy hiding under the seat!

Car looks better every time I see it. Love the radar and the laptop will definitely be uber cool.
Enjoyed meeting you at the show last Sunday. Hopefully next year I can make it there with one of my cars.
That's a nice setup with the alignment machine. Maybe I should drive mine up there and have it done. I'd like to have someone that really knows what they are doing as I have a bumpsteer kit and caster/camber plates. Anyway you could give me their number Robert?

It was good to finally meet you too. I wish we had found someplace to sit down to talk.
I soooo wanted the laptop mount done but the metal I made it from wasnt strong enough. It was bending when it was mounted. Too much weight. So Im going 410 steel this time. The cool thing is no one makes a Mustang Laptop mount so when Im done I can!!
The alignment place has a web page. Ill get it for you. If you email them and set it up that way its like 10% off.

I was driving the Extreme the other day and I found this.
I was tempted to go get Barry & park next to him
just to see the owners face when they came out of the store.

Since no one makes a laptop bracket for the S197 05-09 Mustang body style I
fabricated up my own bracket. Looks simple (and it is) but this dang thing took me forever to
get done. Its 1/8" Steel. It mounts to the existing seat bracket bolts.
I still have to take it to get powdercoated and run the wiring for the charging base & light
but its all downhill now.

Bolted the base attachment on:

Base clears the shifter:

from uptop:

Dropping the Toughbook on there!!

The sun was glaring like crazy so I did what I could so the snaps would come out half way decent:

Anyway.......Its KILLER!!! Before you ask...Yes there is plenty of room to shift.

The one thing that keeps catching my eye is the Saleen emblem on the steering wheel center cap.. any plans to but a Decepticon symbol there? That seems to me to be the most in-your-face place to put one.
No...thats not recent. It didnt reach reserve. The owners name is Jeff. He owned both cars from the production. The 3rd was a half car that is sitting in Corona CA at SMS right now with Steve Saleen. I believe it is still for sale though.
Jeff has one at his home in LA and he kept the other at a Museum in Lubbock Texas.
Well he sold the Lubbock one in May.....he placed it on consignment and it sold.
A guy and his son bought it from the northeast.
I have his info as well. He has posted a couple youtube vids of it and people are paying him to show it. He was pretty stoked about that.
I reached out to him and now have his name and contact info.
I was about to write him back...but I havent yet. Partially because I thought we would have allot in common but Im against showing him for money. So I have been hesitant to respond back for fear of two things....Number one- I dont want to seem haughty but I made mine to put smiles on kids faces....not empty their wallets and the second reason was I think he sees mine as an imposter. A fraud...
I dont want to offend the guy soooo I have been hesitant to reach out to him. Foolish now that I write it out...but anyways-
I know quite a bit about ole Barricade so feel free to ask.
