Nice! I dunno if i would take someone serious or not trying to pull me over in that car.

A few years back a guy tried to pull me over by a toyota corolla. The guy had some white flashing lights in his front grill and pulled beside me flashing a badge. I didn't trust the way it looked so I took off, luckly i had a mustang gt at the time and his toyota corolla couldn't keep up so I got away quite easily.

 

No law enforcement with the car....its a show car of a movie prop or character depending on how you look at it.


I do have to plan extra time driving it because for some reason no one speeds around me....traffic gets congested behind me cause no one wants to pass and in front of me cause they all slow down.


The neat part is people faces when the recognise the car. Waving, laughing, thums up more times than I can count, cell phones out snapping pix....its all good.

 

too funny, that does suck if you get all the traffic ahead of you doing the limit. Come on people drive normal!

I always wondered if that was annoying to normal police cruisers driving around. I'm sure they don't always want to drive the limit when going to get lunch or somthing.

They don't here we my son & I have seen cruisers and ambulances use thier lights to go on through a red then we caught up to see them pull in to a lot to Tim Horton's a Coffee Donut shop, Abuse of office if you ask me ! = then lack of repect

 

I recall going to go eat when a code call comes in. Your assigned and running code
when someone closer arrives and cancels you....so still being hungry you turn off your lights
then continue on to the eatery.
I remember thinking this prolly looks bad....maybe I should drive around a bit first...circle the block a few times....then I thought naaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.......pulled in then checkout out to eat. lol

It happens. I cant promise you what you described doesnt happen but if anything happened to them or anyone else while running code when your not authorised too can open you up to both civil and criminal responsibility.
