Well, I finally see the end is near...I ordered July 26th and now have an ETA of Nov 15th...The wait is the hard part...I see so many people get their Mustangs in 6 to 10 weeks...

I was told 6 to 8 weeks when I ordered...So basically I am waiting 16 weeks...I really thought I would have my car in 6 to 8 weeks...So yes, this seems like forever...Well, I just thought I would share my excitement with all the Black Mustang owners...This is my First new car...I sold my 95 Mustang GT for this new car...

I hope I am not disappointed...Anything anyone can advise me on what to expect or what I should prepare for would be very much appreciated...I will soon Have my First New Black Mustang GT...

Congrats! First thing you should expect is a whole lot more power than your 95 GT! Secondly, you should expect to be one of the coolest people around as you drive a black mustang GT!!! Seriously though, enjoy it when it arrives and be careful, it's a handfull!

Thank You everyone for the comments...I feel like a kid at Christmas...It is not offen I feel this good for something...I hope it is everything I here and expect it to be...I really liked my old 95 Mustang GT...I am expecting to really like this new Mustang a lot more...

I just hope the car arrives with no damage, scratches etc...And everything works...I see all the little problems some have and hope if there are problems my dealer will fix them without giving me the run around...

Anything else I should look for when I go and pick up my New Black Mustang GT??? Thank you again for any information...

 

Just make sure you inspect it good before you drive it off. You only have a week to notify of any flaws etc. When I bought my red v6 last year I was so excited to have it I let an oil stain on the paint slip my eye. I noticed it about ten days later and called the dealer but he said there was nothing he could do about it. The stain was on quarter sized and not that noticeable but it bugged me because I could have made them fix it if I'd caught it at the dealership.

 

Enjoy the ride. Black is a statement on the Mustang GT. Not raucous, but really mean-looking.

It took 6 weeks and 4 days for my ride to appear. Definitely worth the wait.

Must be the week for cars to be delivered. I ordered mine on 10/09, its was dropped on Nov. 6 and released 11/7, est delivery date is the week of 11/16. not sure why Wed. I cant wait though. Pics will be coming soon.
